"Sensational" and "awesome" were a few of the adjectives used by delegates and supporters in attendance at UTC TELECOM 2012 in May 20-23, 2012 in Orlando, Florida at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort. This annual conference brought together industry professionals from around the world.  The opening general session set the tone for the event with an introduction of UTC’s Board of Directors and riveting key note address by Retired Captain J. Charles Plumb USNR. With over 180 exhibiting and sponsoring companies, six education tracks housing more than 40 education sessions, tutorials, technology partner user group meetings, golf tournament and networking events, the conference and UTC EXPO exceeded expectations.
UTC continues to build on its strategic imperative to be a source and resource to the information, communication and technology (ICT), utility global community and the industry providers.

Call for Presentations

Currently, UTC is accepting proposals for UTC TELECOM 2013 presentations. UTC TELECOM 2013 will feature education sessions under the topics of Emerging Technology, Cyber Security, Control Systems and Smart Network Deployment. UTC invites proposals for presentations. Presentations must include:

• One complete paragraph that describes the focus of the presentation.
• The name, title, company and contact information of the speaker*.
• The length of the presentation.
• Visuals that will be included in the presentation, i.e. video and hands-on material.
• Technology partners must include a utility partner for the presentation.

The deadline for submissions is September 30, 2012. Please send your submissions to Samantha.lesesne@utc.org. 

*Listed speaker(s) will be contacted upon acceptance. Please list others who must be notified of acceptance.
